Isn't the image of your RV being towed a sad one, we have had ours towed three times. Glad you we able to obtain winter employment, or at least up to Christmas selling Christmas Trees! Best to each of you.Lindahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03069324195163289199noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-811611787023250616.post-41305383131838937572010-10-28T05:21:26.684-05:002010-10-28T05:21:26.684-05:00Never a dull moment, eh? Wow, what an adventure! ...Never a dull moment, eh? Wow, what an adventure! I LOVE that you are so quick to thank the Lord, or should I say, throughout you are bing thankful and it seems HE IS ALWAYS RIGHT THERE when you need Him or someone HE assigns to be there for you!
Wow, I so remember how that was for us when we went across the USA and back when Tim was just a baby. That lifestyle was the extreme highs and lows. Sometimes I do really love remembering how free we felt to just lean on the Lord to provide. Other times I recall the greatest needs that I ever had to provide for our children mostly, to find what we didn't even know we what or where to look and to give thanks for what we did know we had. Our older Airstream trailer and International Travell All came in so wonderfully at times as our little piece of Heaven, totally safe and protected by the LOVING HAND of our Precious Lord! We knew HE was with us and guiding us on the way. Sometimes we wanting to get to GO (and now or soon)... other times we wanted to STAY but He had us push onward. ALL IN ALL, we were most thankful afterward that we did go as the Lord led and had time just enough each place and learned to be thankful so I know your words are a keen reminder to me to STAY in that place no matter if I am in a home (or 2 homes) or on the road. We rented and apartment in Caldwell for Noah to get to play sports and take 2 P.E. classes at Vallivue. The address in our Faith Landing Apartment is on Noah Court! That and many other things have shown us that the Lord is involved with this move, albeit a more temporary 6 month stint, having sold the house we had down there for the older boys when they wanted to get to do the sports and p.e. Tim actually did full time high school there and yet his 9th & 10 homeschool credits did not transfer so even though he did school there, he did not graduate with his class. He graduated with the homeschool graduation, as did Matthew and Mary.
Now Noah is enrolled with I SUCCEED an online high school so his credits are going to count for him. Jon did homeschool all the way through and took a couple of online classes but it is much better organized as well as flexible for Noah to be taking his classes online. They even provided him with his own laptop computer and it didn't cost anything as it is considered a public highschool. I almost would think to do a blog as I have a bit more time with him having other teachers besides me but some days, I still feel that there are not enough hours in the day. We are still harvesting from the garden and going up to Ketchum for the weekly roadside stand that we set up at our friends sporting goods store called BACKWOODS SPORTS. It is so good of them to let us set up there and this year they said they had been getting requests about us and hoping we'd come again! We've been doing this after the market season ends now for this is our 3rd year. Well, this is longer than a comment and might not let me send it...hope you know I think of you both often, Brandon and all of your precious grandchildren too... With Love,
RoxineROXINEnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-811611787023250616.post-80557838049863914542010-10-28T05:21:20.140-05:002010-10-28T05:21:20.140-05:00Never a dull moment, eh?
